Compressed air foam – Environmentally compliance foam discharged as compressed air foam has been shown to be effective at extinguishing Li-ion cell module fires and thermal runaway events.
Its ability to suppress and extinguish Li-ion fires relates to its ability to knock down flaming combustion and cool Li-ion modules and cells to stop thermal runaway spread.
Our systems discharged within a NACELLE has the advantage of needing 75 - 85% less water which significantly reduces infrastructure costs and environmental damage.
